Viviana Matsuda is a queer Japanese/Mexican Artist from San Francisco. Her dad was a ceramicist and when he passed away she was left with a bunch of pottery supplies. She took a ceramics class as a creative outlet to work through her grief. Using only her hands to turn earth was therapeutic. She spent hours making all sorts of random forms with no intentions. Her business has grown and is now a full blown pottery production and she has a small team. She still does all the wheel throwing and they are working through casting her handmade pieces to share her designs with more folks.
