Inspired by the Miss Atomic pageants, which were held in Nevada during the Atomic Age, to celebrate the City of Las Vegas's modernity. The last and most famous was Lee A. Merlin who was crowned as “Miss Atomic Bomb”, coinciding with Operation Plumbbob, while wearing a cotton mushroom cloud on the front of her swimsuit. She was the last “Miss Atomic Bomb.” Don English of the Las Vegas Sun photographed her. And of course, in honor of the "Miss Atomic Bomb" hit song by Vegas's own The Killers. From their album Battle Born. Available in black or gold plating, measures approximately 2" tall.

Battle Born Pins is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the "Battle Born" state! These pins are inspired by vintage neon signs and architecture. Many of these monuments are no longer with us, so these pins are a tiny reminder of the beautiful mid-century city Vegas once had. They hope that by spreading awareness of these iconic designs more people will be interested in preserving the signs and buildings that are still left.
