Battle Born Pins

Pink Elephant Pin

Inspired by the pink elephant at the Diamond Inn Motel in Las Vegas.  Built in 1940 the Diamond Inn Motel is one of the oldest buildings still standing on the strip. There are a handful of mass-produced fiberglass pink elephants scattered across the country, but this unique Jumbo is not one of them. It appears to be a custom made elephant! The pink elephant came from Disney World, probably in the 50’s. He used to trumpet loudly, but the noise caused some accidents. Because of that, the county made the owner take the sound mechanism out. This pin measures 1.5" wide and is designed by the talented Dustin Williams.

Battle Born Pins is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, the "Battle Born"  state! These pins are inspired by vintage neon signs and architecture. Many of these monuments are no longer with us, so these pins are a tiny reminder of the beautiful mid-century city Vegas once had. They hope that by spreading awareness of these iconic designs more people will be interested in preserving the signs and buildings that are still left.
